Tinkoff-Saxo and Specialized present a unique charity auction of Alberto Contador’s S-Works Tarmac 2015. The highest bidder will become the proud owner of the bike that Alberto Contador rode to victory in the 2014 Vuelta a España. Specialized will donate the entire amount to the non-profit Matonyok Parents Trust Orphanage that the riders and staff of Tinkoff-Saxo visited during the team building trip to Tanzania.
Very rarely you get the chance to own a bike ridden by the pros of the WorldTour, as very few specimens are sold to private persons – a Grand Tour-winning bike is even rarer.
Bids are starting at 3,000 € Alberto’s S-Works Tarmac is Rider-First Engineered™ to provide the hill destroying stiffness and legendary descending prowess the Tarmac is known for. It’s a no compromise race-bred machine equipped with a full SRAM Red drivetrain to ensure perfect shifting and unrivaled braking power. This bike carried Alberto through his comeback race, Vuelta a España, where he won stage 16 and 20 and the overall GC in an exhilarating duel against his GC-rivals.
