If I had a dollar for every time I heard some purist utter the phrase, steel is real, someone from the Fortune 500 list would be doing my cat sitting.
Nevertheless, if you’re one of those cyclists who still whispers those words to himself, Battaglin’s special edition Officina steel frameset might just be the ticket to satisfying that need.
According to Battaglin, the Officina is made at their workshop in Marostica, Italy, using none other than Columbus’ venerable SL tubing, with sizes available in 47cm to 64cm in 1 centimeter increments.
Battaglin says, only 65 of these classic lugged steel framesets will be available, with each one featuring a numbered, engraved plaque brazed along the top tube.
Want one?
You better have quite a bit of lira set aside then, because the price of the Offcina fetches $3100.00.
But, the good news is, turnout time is just 30 days.
Magnifico!
