A random social ride led me to Seven Serpents. Bruno, the organizer, asked if I wanted to film the event, and of course, I didn’t hesitate. I had heard the stories about the long distance, the storms, the madness of the elevation, and none of them were exaggerated. From day zero, the energy was wild.
Ljubljana’s smooth gravel turned into Croatia’s sharp and endless roads. We shot non-stop, one video a day, chasing hail, wind, and the occasional sun, barely sleeping, moving as fast and raw as the riders themselves. It felt like we were racing too, trying to capture a world that never slowed down, even at night.
While shooting this short documentary, I tried to let the riders lead the story through their voices, exhaustion, and way of seeing this wild journey—soaked, covered in mud, sometimes just pissed at a guy pointing a camera at them. A few days, all heart, pure pictures and vibes.
This is my tribute to the Seven Serpents.
