That fateful weekend, the preparation and training were in place, and the Richmond stage was set. All that was left for Lizzie Armitstead and Peter Sagan was to conquer their nerves, commit to their tactics, and be willing to risk it all for a shot at glory. And at the tail end of their hard fought races, they both fought like hell for the line.
