Catlike has reprised its Whipser helmet of yore with a more modern adaptation aptly dubbed the Whisper II, which now comes fitted with MIPS rotational impact protection.
Initially launched in 2006, the Whisper was punctuated by no fewer than 39 vent holes, giving the helmet its distinctive Swiss cheese-like appearance.
However, the new lid now features vents that are more elongated, along with an EPS foam liner and a Liquid Crystal Polymer internal cage that’s designed to distribute impact energy and keep the helmet intact during impact. As mentioned, the Whisper II is also equipped with MIPS’ Air Node system to reduce rotational forces in a crash.

Additionally, the Whisper II is equipped with a new adjustment system, developed to increase compatibility and improve protection in the occipital area,” boasts the Portugal-based brand.
The Whisper II is currently only available in a size medium, with a range of colors that span Mercury/Black, Green Forest/White, Star White, Black matte and Red matte/Black gloss for 137.49€.
