Collaborations between marque automobile companies and bike brands are nothing new. Colnago was perhaps the first to do so with Ferrari decades ago, joining two iconic Italian houses in pursuit of two-wheel perfection instead of the usual four.
The latest to embark upon such a partnership are Cervelo and the vaunted super-car maker, Lamborghini, to create a limited edition of the Canadian brand’s R5 road bike – complete with a special paint scheme that regals the Italian car company’s Aventador SVJ that famously set a Nürburgring lap record in 2018.
“Our limited edition R5 will celebrate Automobili Lamborghini’s founding year with the production of 63 bikes. The bike will be built with the best components from Campagnolo, Deda, Fizik and Vittoria,” says Cervelo.
Indeed, the limited edition R5 come adorned with a full Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset, a Campagnolo Bora One wheelset, a Deda Elementi handlebar, Vittoria Corsa Pro Tires and a Fizik Aliante saddle.

You better be able to shell-out plenty of lira, as the special edition R5 fetches a whopping $18,000.
