Cinelli is targeting the cycling masses with the launch of its new Zydeco Washboard, hoping to put a smile on the faces of urban cyclists, gravel riders and bikepackers alike, offering a bike that’s capable of tackling virtually any riding condition or terrain thrown at it.
“The Zydeco Washboard is a modern, multipurpose gravel platform designed for riders who want one bike that does it all,” boasts the storied Italian brand.
At the heart of the Zydeco Washboard, is Columbus’ venerable triple-butted 6061 T6 aluminum tubing that’s been treated to a modern silhouette, including dropped seat stays, yoke style chain stays, semi-integrated cable routing, UDH compatibility and a carbon fork for the top-tier model.
Offered in two guises, the Zydeco Washboard is available in the Sport or Allday version, with the Sport coming equipped with a carbon fork.
The Sport is also fitted with a higher-spec Cues 1x drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes, whereas the Allday gets a 2x Cues drivetrain and cable-actuated brakes.
The Sport will set customers back €2,300, while the Allday fetches €1,500.
