Elastic Interface is hoping to quell saddle sores and dreaded chafing for cyclists once and for all, with the launch of its latest 3D-printed N3X chamois pad.
According to Elastic Interface, using 3D-printing technology allows for greater control over the cell structure of the pad, resulting in a lattice-like pattern that compresses in a diagonal plane for better comfort, while also increasing breathability.
Additionally, the material that’s used in the pad is hydrophobic, meaning it will not absorb sweat, further increasing comfort.
As a supplier to premium cycling apparel brands, Elastic Interface says its new 3D-printed chamois pad will find its ways into high end bib shorts for the 2023 season.
