To memorialize the legendary French race, Ferrari has unveiled a special edition Tour de France F12. However, much to the disappointment of the cycling masses, the TDF Ferrari pays homepage to the automobile endurance race that was once the focus of the sports car racing world during the 1950s and ’60s – and not to the prestigious cycling race in quest of the coveted yellow jersey, that we know and love.
On a positive note, cycling can take solace in the fact, that there won’t be any pink vehicles coming out of Maranello – paying tribute to the Giro d’Italia. 😀
