Fizik has expanded its range of helmets with the launch of the Kyros, a versatile helmet that’s aimed at a wide range of disciplines, including road, gravel and cross-country, featuring a sleek, rounded profile that delivers consistent cooling while maintaining a compact, low-profile silhouette.
“For decades, Fizik has powered the sport of cycling, redefining performance across nearly all disciplines. First came saddles, then bar tape, then shoes. Now fizik is extending its unique touch of aesthetics and performance to helmets. Building on decades of experience across shoes and saddles, the growing helmet range is designed to offer the same considered balance of comfort, efficiency, and protection, shaped by the needs of modern riders and racers across road and off-road disciplines,” says the Italian brand.
“The Kyros is one of the most versatile options in our growing helmet collection, designed for riders who move seamlessly between tarmac, gravel paths, and forest trails. Whether you’re out on a Sunday group ride or weaving through tight singletrack on your XC loop, Kyros balances high-performance features with all-day comfort and reliable protection,” adds Fizik.
SLEEK PERFORMANCE, PROVEN PROTECTION
With its sleek, rounded design that reduces bulk, the Kyros offers efficient thermoregulation and a low overall weight courtesy of strategically placed vents that ensure consistent airflow, along with an open design at the back that further helps dissipate heat efficiently. In addition, the side vents are designed to securely hold sunglasses when not in use, while both EU and CPSC certifications ensure top-tier impact protection.
CROWN-FIT ADJUSTMENT
Kyros’ fit system offers advanced adjustability through a proprietary crown adjustment feature, allowing riders to fine-tune the helmet’s shape by positioning detachable red pins in three different settings for a personalized fit that conforms to the exact shape of the head. Moreover, a micrometric dial at the back of the helmet enables tilt adjustment, enhancing both comfort and eyewear compatibility, while lightweight webbing around the ears further improves adjustability and all-day comfort.
“We are very excited to bring Crown Fit Technology to a wider group of riders with Kyros. A simple, elegant solution to reshape the helmet without the need for extra padding, I’ve particularly enjoyed seeing the surprise on rider’s faces’ when a helmet that didn’t fit correctly on the initial try now matches the shape of their head, after only some minor adjustment,” says George Huxford, Senior Marketing Manager at Fizik.
FURTHER IMPACT PROTECTION
Additionally, the Kyros features an EPS-PC shell engineered to effectively distribute impact forces across the helmet, offering full-coverage protection. For added safety, the MIPS Evolve Core system helps dissipate rotational forces during angled impacts. This lightweight, low-friction layer, positioned between the liner and the shell, delivers advanced protection without compromising comfort.
HELMET LIGHT
The Kyros can also accommodate Fizik’s unique helmet light. Designed to increase cyclist visibility at the touch of a button, the light quickly integrates into the back of compatible helmets, without tools, to instantly improve safety. Also included is a blanking plate for the light fitment and a reflective tab that can be used in place of the light, giving riders a choice between an active or passive visibility aid for $32.99.
The new Kyros is available in three sizes, which sells for $199.99, in white, black, grey/lavender and desert/dove colorways.
