Launched by the German custom motorcycle workshop Hookie Co., Frozen Components is a new brand of bicycle components that aims to add flavor to your bike’s handlebars with a series of eye-catching new grips.
Made in Dresden from an ecological, thermoplastic compound, the grips have a polygonal shape and a UV-resistant surface, along with a simple push-on design that allows owners to easily swap between designs.
The grips also feature a textured pattern in order to ensure the rider a firm hold.
Frozen Components currently offers a series of 20 labels that are easily added to the handlebar, ranging from everything from comic book-style lettering to leopard prints, camo patterns, geometric shapes, or Indian-inspired patterns, which combined with the clear grips create a frozen effect.
In addition to adding a cool accent to any bike, Frozen Components is keen to point out that the grips are sustainably made as well, selecting materials that minimize CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process.
Additionally, customers can return their old grips to Frozen Components, which in turn can be recycled into making new ones.
