HexLox Launches Universal Modular Thru-Axle System

HexLox has launched a new modular thru-axle system called HexThru, which the German brand claims is compatible with virtually any disc brake equipped bike.

According to HexLox, its Perfect Fit system is design to adjust telescopically in order to accommodate thru-axle diameters ranging from 12mm to 15mm, making it a universal fit for most bike categories including Fat Bikes, trailers and even floor trainers.

Additionally, HexThru has interchangeable threads, allowing it to adapt to the various thread pitches used by different thru-axle designs currently in use in the bike market.

“Performance-wise stiffness and steering responsiveness is maximized as the axle threads completely into the fork, ensuring the hub or fork sits squarely on the axle, not the thread”, says HexLox. 

The HexThru is also is part of HexLox’s Bike Security System, wherein customers can purchase the company’s patented locking end caps as well.

Front 15 NOT compatible with these forks:

• XXL Dropout width (hub width) of 150mm (regular width is 100mm, Boost is 110mm). 
• Stihlrad.
• Bulls.

• Adaptor required for XXL Fat Bikes with axle length over 200mm (Fat 209, Fat 229).
