Across Andes is known for being the first ultra-cycling race in Chile, crossing the longest mountain range in the world from Chile to Argentina.
Each year, riders from all over the globe gather in Chile, with the sights set on the challenging 1,000-kilometer route. Among them was athlete, director, and photographer Sami Sauri, who returned in 2024 after pulling out of the race the year before. Apparently, she had unfinished business, and she ended up finishing in second place in the women’s race.
Sami’s new project, Adventure More, was born by combining her two biggest passions: documenting and sports. The goal is to showcase amazing wild spaces and inspire people to get outside.
The first video in the new series chronicles her comeback at the 2024 Across Andes event.
