Magura Goes Wireless with Vyron Dropper Seatpost

Magura has gone wireless with its Vyron dropper seatpost, opting for Bluetooth protocols instead of ANT+ to adjust height settings on the redesigned post.

Additionally, the Vyron is now IP67 certification, meaning it can withstand 30 minutes of submersion in up to 3 feet of water, making it less prone to enemies like mud, moisture and dirt, while a sealed, screw-on battery cover replaces the charging socket, relying on a CR2 battery to power the seatpost and a CR2032 to power the remote.

Magura also says the seatpost can be adjusted from 150mm to 175mm and from 100mm to 125mm by changing the inner base of the post, providing lots of flexibility between multiple bikes.

Priced at €579.90, the Vyron will be available in two diameters, 30.9mm and 31.6mm, along with four variants of travel from 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 175mm, while lengths can range from 396mm to 471mm depending on the amount of travel.
