MyWhoosh Partners with USA Cycling and Echelon Racing Promotions for 2024 Echelon Racing League and 2025 Esports National Championships

USA Cycling announced that it will partner with EchelonRacing Promotions for a fifth consecutive year to bring virtual racers together through the Echelon Racing League. At the conclusion of the five-race series, USA Cycling will host the 2025 USA Cycling Esports National Championships on February 1, 2025, using theMyWhoosh virtual racing platform.

Following the success of the recently staged UCI Esports UCI World Championships event hosted by MyWhoosh in Abu Dhabi, this latest partnership reflects the growing popularity of Esport racing in North America. With a one-time registration fee of just $15, and MyWhoosh being completely free to use, the USA Championships will be accessible to a wider range of participants than ever before. Also, MyWhoosh’s thorough verification process will ensure a fair racing environment for all participants competing for the $10,000 prize fund.

Eric Hill, Echelon Racing League’s Co-Founder and President, commented: “Echelon Racing Promotions remains committed to providing the highest quality, accessible, fair and equitable competitions in the Esport cycling space. We continue to believe that esports

provides a platform to strengthen the overall cycling community and its reach, influence, and impact by bringing virtual and in-real-life riders and racers together in collaboration with national governing bodies. We are thrilled to partner with MyWhoosh, who share the same passion and energy to revolutionize cycling through Esport.”

“It is clear that Esports continues to gain popularity and momentum, as seen by the recent UCI World Championships event on MyWhoosh held in Abu Dhabi,” continued Hill. “This is further highlighted by the new Echelon Racing League sponsors: Takis, the official snack of the ERL #FaceTheIntensity, and Wahoo. With Esports reaching a different demographic than  traditional cycling events and, in many ways, being more accessible for competition, broadcasting, and viewership, brands see opportunity in this new frontier.”

Matt Smithson, race control and race events manager at MyWhoosh added: “This collaboration is a fantastic opportunity to bring top-level virtual racing to a wider audience while maintaining the accessibility and inclusivity that MyWhoosh is all about. By combining our platform’s advanced verification processes with USACycling’s commitment to fair and exciting competition, we’re setting the stage for an unforgettable event that pushes the limits of what’s possible in Esports cycling.”
