Pactimo and Domahidy Designs Team-Up to Offer Custom Team Bikes and Apparel

The Denver-based apparel maker, Pactimo, and artisan bike builder, Domahidy Designs, have teamed up to offer race teams and cycling groups a special custom bike and matching “kit” program.

“We’re taking the custom kit program to the next level by allowing groups and teams to customize the bike to their organization’s identity,” said Steve Domahidy, the company’s founder and president. “We did it for Groove Subaru and it was an enormous success, now we’re expanding the program nationwide.”

As part of the program, teams and cycling groups can submit their logo, graphics, color choices and ideas, and Domahidy Designs and Pactimo will custom match each bike and “kit”.

“We think this will bring a new level of presentation to teams and groups that has never been achieved before,” Domahidy said, “this is a win/win for everybody. We’re giving organizations an extremely cool and unique product to ride and race, and at an aggressive discount from retail. In return, the groups and teams are out on the bikes helping spread the word about Domahidy Designs. We really believe this to be an amazing opportunity for all involved.”

According to Domahidy Designs, prices will vary depending on quantities, but in some cases, $950 will provide a custom frame, fork, headset, along with Pactimo’s race kit, which represents over a 50 percent discount from retail pricing.

“We are excited to partner with Domahidy Designs for this fantastic team offer,” said Karl Heidgen, Pactimo’s VP of custom sales, “Domahidy is known for paying attention to the small details that make a difference in ride quality and performance and to offer it with custom paint is an added bonus.”

Last season, more than half of the Groove Subaru Excel Sports Race Team participated in the pilot program.

This year, the team will expand its commitment to the program. “We were the test subjects for this project, and have been thrilled with the results,” said Alex Gillett, the co-owner of the Groove Subaru Excel Race Team. “Our team did awesome this year aboard Domahidy Designs Carbon Road bikes, and we look forward to furthering our relationship with this very cool start-up brand. Groove is committed to Domahidy Designs and we’re working closely with them on development of future models as well. We couldn’t be more pleased.”

Those interested must submit their minimum order of 10 units on or before November 15, in order to make the 2016 season.
