Pinarello has expanded its range of Xolar colorways, adding three new dazzling shades of yellow, blue and white for its Dogma X endurance road bike.
First launched in 2023, Dogma X was designed specifically for riders who enjoy comfort while tackling diverse terrain, which features the Italian brand’s unique X-Stay technology, along with enough clearance to accommodate tires up to a hefty 35mm.
The X-Stays are based on carefully chosen carbon fiber layup patterns comprising Toray’s T1100 1K carbon fiber, resulting in a reduced diameter in the curved top stays that Pinarello claims dampens vibrations while increasing lateral stiffness.
“The Dogma X frame is asymmetrically designed to balance the greater torsional forces imparted by the chain, providing riders with a perfectly symmetrical ride,” says Pinarello.
Elsewhere, the Dogma X features longer chain stays in order to increase lateral stiffness without impacting vertical compliance, particularly in the area of the bottom bracket.
The Dogma X is available as a frameset only for $6,950, as well as a complete bike, with three builds being offered that span top-tier groupsets from Campagnolo, Shimano and SRAM, with a choice of DT Swiss ERC 1400, Princeton Grit 4540, or Bora WTO 33 wheels.
