Dubbed the F1, Pinarello has launched its most affordable carbon road bike to date, giving adherents to the vaunted Italian brand access to its range for a paltry £3,000.
“The F1 is designed to excel on any terrain and is as adept at climbing as it is comfortable on high-speed descents,” boasts Pinarello.
To keep the price low, Pinarello opted for Toray T600 carbon, along with Shimano’s mid-level 105 mechanical groupset, while things spin on the Japanese brand’s WH RS-171 wheelset.
Elsewhere, the F1 is treated to trickle-down features such as Pinarello’s Onda fork and a recessed area along the downtube in order to make water bottles more aerodynamic, as well as fully integrated cables and an integrated seatpost clamp.
Additionally, to up the styling quotient, Pinarello has introduced two new colorways, Formula Red and Formula Blue.
The F1 is available in nine sizes that span 425 to 580.
