Pirelli Rolls Out New Cinturato Road TLR Tire

Pirelli has rolled out its latest Cinturato Road TLR tire, adding tubeless-ready tech to its already popular Cinturato Road.

“The Cinturato Road TLR is designed to deliver maximum protection and comfort for extended rides in all conditions, from weekend adventures to fast-paced urban commutes. Combining Pirelli’s cutting-edge compound and construction technologies—SmartNET Silica and TLR TechWALL+ Road—this tire offers unbeatable reliability, versatility, and comfort, whether you’re tackling long distances or mixed terrains,” boasts the Italian brand.

Like its predecessor, the Cinturato Road TLR features Pirelli’s SmartNet Silica Compound for excellent grip in wet conditions.

“Our SmartNET Silica technology delivers high rolling efficiency thanks to its natural anisotropic orientation that reduces heating while increasing elasticity, to help minimize energy dissipation. Also, the wide surface of the silica rod molecules enhances its natural water affinity, delivering confident handling in wet conditions, excellent puncture resistance and extensive mileage. Plus, our SmartNET Silica compound features microscopic rod-shaped particles, that are arranged systematically, rather than chaotically, creating a strong, long-lasting tire,” explains Pirelli.

Additionally, the new tire features Pirelli’s 60tpi TechWall+ Road casing that’s designed to deliver superior suppleness, excellent air retention and easy fitting, while the reinforcement layers make for a highly reliable and durable structure without compromising its rolling resistance efficiency. The result is superior puncture protection and high milage that’s suitable for various applications.

Available in 26c, 28c, 32c and 35c sizes, the Cinturato Road TLR sells for $64.90.
