Prologo Launches New Choice Integrated Saddle

Prologo has launched its latest saddle dubbed the Choice, touting it as the Italian brand’s first “integrated” design, which features Nack carbon fiber rails that are nestled under a lateral structure that both reduces weight and enhances aerodynamics.

“In a constantly evolving cycling world, characterized by ever-increasing speeds and increasingly aerodynamic frames and components, the new Choice saddle stands at the forefront of total integration, offering comfort and performance beyond limits. Aerodynamics, lightness, and modularity define a product designed to meet the demands of modern cycling, increasingly aligned in philosophy and performance with the world of Formula 1. Following the Predator project, Prologo confirms its pioneering role in the high-performance saddle segment by introducing Choice: a patented product that revolutionizes the concept of the road saddle and opens new perspectives in the high-end component market,” says Prologo.

Modularity also played a critical role in the development of the Choice, allowing key components of the saddle to be removed and replaced.

“Another revolutionary aspect of Choice is its modular design, a feature previously unseen in a saddle of this category. Using just two screws, the rail can be separated from the carbon shell, allowing individual components to be replaced if damaged. This solution introduces a more sustainable approach without compromising quality, performance, or structural integrity,” explains Prologo.

Tipping the scales at an impressive 152 grams, the Choice saddle measures 240mm in length, which is available in two widths, 140mm and 147mm, for a hefty $473.00.

Technical Specifications:

  • Shape: semi-round, T-shape
  • Central PAS channel to relieve pressure peaks
  • Integrated rail shielded by lateral side wings
  • Rail: Nack (nano carbon fiber)
  • Rail diameter: 7 × 9 mm
