Ride with GPS has just rolled a new feature to its mobile app called QuickNav, an incredibly simple, effective function that’s designed to provide a powerful new way to get from point A to point B. From quick trips to the grocery store to the daily commute, simply plug your destination into the Search bar or long-press anywhere on the map and QuickNav will automatically generate a route to your endpoint including estimated time of destination.
Also, should you stray off course, QuickNav automatically updates your routing in real time based on your current position. Change your plans? Simply tap the Search icon or long-press anywhere to update your destination. Your route and estimated trip time will auto-adjust accordingly.
As with your destination, QuickNav also makes getting home easier than ever. No matter where you are, simply tap the Search bar, select your Home location and QuickNav will automatically generate a bike-friendly beeline home. Because the routing mode is optimized for safety, QuickNav will always select the most bike-friendly route to your destination.
“Ride with GPS has always been there to support your epic adventures – with QuickNav, we’re bringing that experience to your everyday rides,” says Zack Ham, co-founder Ride with GPS.
“I’m particularly excited to offer our signature navigation without the need to pre-plan a route. QuickNav is a key component to supporting our members where it matters most—on the bike,” adds Kevin Prentice, Director of Revenue Operations.
Ride with GPS is offering QuickNav free to all users for a limited time, regardless of subscription level (app versions 3.4.2 for iOS and Android).
