State Bicycle Co. Announces Collaboration with National Park Foundation

State Bicycle Co. has announced its latest collaboration with the National Parks Foundation (NPF) with the launch of a new of bikes, apparel and bike bags.

“It’s an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to work with the National Park Foundation. As riders, we must ensure that we are taking care of our outside playground and preserving it for future generations of riders. For many Americans, this starts with the national parks. We hope that we can all do our part in preserving and promoting the beauty of the great outdoors,” says State’s Mehdi Farsi. This partnership sees the release of five national parks-themed bikes, apparel, and handlebar bags.

Bikes

Klunker | Grand Canyon & Yellowstone National Parks

The Klunker is available in two colorways celebrating Grand Canyon National Park and Yellowstone National Park respectively. Built on a durable steel frame and fork with a 5-year warranty, these bikes will take a beating and look good while doing it. State paired the Klunkers with a BMX-style stem, 30” extra-wide V-bar with and Vans Grips. They also come with WTB Vigilante mountain bike tires.

4130 Road | Glacier National Park

Built on a lightweight double-butted Chromoly steel frame, the 4130 Road is perfectly equipped for commuters, with room for fenders over the stock 25mm tires and fittings for luggage racks both front and rear. The 8-speed rear drivetrain shifts using a downtube lever, a choice that makes an immediate callback to vintage bikes yet also makes for a low-maintenance option thanks to the durable nature of the shifting system. The 4130 Road can fit up to 32c tires, filling the needs of a variety of drop bar riders.

4130 All Road | Joshua Tree National Park

Paying homage to Joshua Tree National Park, the 4130 All Road’s 38c tires are perfect for the dirt roads scattered throughout the Park’s landscape. From the All-Road Bars 1 to the stealth Thru-Axle, countless mounting options, and a drivetrain built for speed and climbing, State answered the call for a “one bike to do it all” with the 4130 All-Road. Available with either 700c or 650b wheels, this bike offers style and versatility in equal parts.

Core Line | Redwood National Park

The Core Line truly reflects the ethos of State, with a classic look and serious value. A mainstay of the fixed gear/singlespeed world, this colorway celebrates California’s Redwood National Park. The 4130 steel frame provides a compliant ride without sacrificing durability. A flip-flop hub allows the rider to ride fixed or freewheel while the Cult x Vans waffle pattern grips will keep you comfortable and riding hassle-free for years to come.

Bar Bags

Made of 1000D Cordura material with YKK water-resistant zippers, these bags are ready for any terrain and all weather. With daisy chain Velcro webbing and multiple attachment points, these bags will easily fit on virtually any bike. With styles celebrating the same five parks, you can match your bike or mix it up.

Apparel

In keeping with the environmental-consciousness, State has revamped their bib shorts, jerseys and tech Ts for the NPF collaboration. Each clothing item in the collection is made from recycled 100% post-consumer waste, using garments from State Bicycle Co.’s Sustainable Clothing Collection. Each piece in the SBC Sustainable Clothing Collection is constructed with REPREVE®, a polyester primarily recycled from water bottles. Performance and quality have not been spared in the name of sustainability. This apparel emphasizes exquisite fit, top performance, and attention to detail and carries a 1-year warranty.
