State Bicycle Co. is back in the carbon gravel segment with the launch of its latest Carbon All-Road, repositioning the Arizona-based in the gravel and adventure bike space with an exceptional value for gravelers and bikepackers alike. 

Highlights include UDH compatibility, T47 BB, 700×2.2 tire clearance, integrated frame storage, and modern gravel geometry. Component upgrades are available across the entire bike, with wider gearing, wider rims, and improved braking performance. As with all State complete bikes, SRAM build kits and upgraded wheels are available for further performance. The Carbon All Road comes in Sidewinder Black for the 2025 winter season.   • Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) Compatibility: Future-proofed for the latest drivetrain standards, ensuring easy maintenance and upgradeability.
  • “Best of Both Worlds” Internally Routed Cables: A cleaner aesthetic with better protection from the elements, yet still allowing for easy accessibility with an externally routed cockpit. Riders can go full internal with FSA or Enve systems if desired.
  • Downtube Storage Box: Inspired by modern mountain bikes, this feature utilizes a Fidlock magnetic closure system. The bike includes neoprene storage cases for an inner tube and other ride essentials.
  • Tire Clearance: 700c x 2.2” or 650b x 2.4” 
  • Front Derailleur Delete with Aero Plate: A sleek molded cover provides a clean, aerodynamic look when using a 1x drivetrain, eliminating clutter and reducing weight.
  • More Mounting Points: Additional mounts on the underside of the downtube, top tube, and fork provide even more storage and adventure potential. Load up and go anywhere!
  • Race Geometry: A shorter head tube and aggressive geometry make this bike lightning-fast while stable enough for endurance adventures.
  • T47 Bottom Bracket: This oversized threaded bottom bracket provides increased stiffness for improved power transfer and pedaling efficiency. The threaded design makes maintenance easier and eliminates creaking issues common in press-fit bottom brackets.

Drivetrain, Cockpit & Brakes, Wheels:

  • Crankset: 40T direct mount chainring for optimal gravel gearing.
  • Cassette: 11-46T 
  • Cable-actuated hydraulic Brakes are now standard. Previously, a $99.99 upgrade are now included with compressionless housing for improved braking power and modulation.
  • 12-Speed All-Road Drivetrain: The standard 11-speed groupset gets a well-deserved upgrade, delivering smoother shifting and an improved gear range.
  • Wider Rim Profiles:
    • 700c rims: Increased from 19mm to 23mm wide
    • 650b rims: Now 25mm wide
  • Spokes & Hubs:
    • Spoke count increased from 28 to 32 spokes for added durability.
    • Hubs upgraded from 2 to 4 sealed bearings, providing smoother rolling and increased engagement for better acceleration.
  • Flared Gravel Bar Update:
    • The previous 15-degree flare is now an aggressive 33-degree flare, improving control and comfort on rugged terrain.

  • DT Swiss Alloy Wheel Upgrade: Available for $450 in 650B and 700C.
  • Enve Wheel Upgrade: This upgrade is Available for $999 in both 650B and 700c (retail price: $1400).
  • Mullet Upgrade: For only $59.99, riders can upgrade from the stock 11-46T cassette to an 11-50T.
  • Wireless Electronic Shifting & Hydro Brake Upgrades:
    • SRAM APEX XPLR AXS: $899.99 Upgrade (11-44T Gearing)
