Alvaro Hodeg clinched the stage 3 victory in the Tour de Pologne day, after the Quick-Step Floors rider fended-of Daniel McLay (EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale) and André Greipel (Lotto Soudal Greipel) in a sprint finish to seize the stage honors after finishing runner-up to Pascal Ackerman (Bora-Hansgrohe) during the opening two stages.
Hodeg now leads the overall classification by 2 seconds over Ackerman, followed by Jenthe Biermans (Katusha-Alpecin), who also finished on the podium in third place during the first two stages of this year’s race.
