Whether it’s your first Gran Fondo or Sportive event, knowing what to expect will make planning for your event much easier.
Before arriving, make sure to check the weather and, if possible, the course you will be riding. This will help you to pace yourself during the event and plan when to stop for food if needed.
Give yourself plenty of time to prepare yourself, sign on, attach race numbers etc. There’s nothing worse than having to rush before a big ride.
