North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) Proudly Announces Partnership with Bespoked

BOULDER, COLO. (For Immediate Release) – The North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS), premier showcase for artisan framebuilders, is proud to announce a partnership with Bespoked, the UK-based counterpart to NAHBS, in an effort to further promote the handbuilt bicycle industry around the world.

Embracing a “strength in numbers” philosophy, the two shows will cross promote one another to bring the message of artisanal bike building to a broader audience. Builders on each side of the Atlantic will have the opportunity to have their work presented to international audiences that would otherwise be hard to reach.

"I’m thrilled to be working with our European counterparts to bring our beloved handmade bicycle industry to new levels,” said Don Walker, Founder and President of NAHBS. “Phil Taylor has been instrumental in flying the handmade flag for our industry in England and Europe and this partnership is the next step in solidifying a brighter future for framebuilders on both sides of the Atlantic."

This new partnership will offer a "framebuilder exchange" that will allow US and UK-based builders to share construction methods, ideas, and information through seminars at each other’s show.

“We are delighted to announce that we will be working with Don Walker, the man behind NAHBS, our US counterpart, to help promote the wonders that are handmade bicycles and the people that make them,” said Phil Taylor, Founder of Bespoked.

2015 will only be the start of this partnership with plans to further cross promote in 2016 when NAHBS and Bespoked will host booths at each other’s show.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to NAHBS and Bespoked, Don and Phil are both accomplished framebuilders with an understanding of the technical and business challenges many show exhibitors experience.
