Bianchi will unveil its special edition L’Eroica road bike, during this week’s annual Eurobike show.
The special edition bike, was specifically created, to meet the regulations of the L’Eroica events, which require participants to ride bike that were produced no later than 1987, and wear vintage apparel in keeping with that era.
The new L’Eroica bike, features a lugged frame made with Columbus Zona tubing, with chrome stays and fork ends punctuated by Bianchi’s signature Celeste paint.
In addition, the bike features Dia-Compe downtube shift levers paired with Campagnolo Silver Vintage 10-speed derailleurs. Other vintage style details, include a three-arm spider crank embossed with the old Bianchi logo, Velo cotton bar tape, quill-type Bianchi stem, Brooks Team Pro Classic saddle and 32-hole Ambrosio Montreal tubular rims.
According to Bianchi, manufacturing will begin next month, and the bike will retail for $4,499.99.
