Despite being known mainly for their saddles and cycling shoes, Fizik has offered a range of cockpit pieces over the last couple of years as well.
The most recent to join the Italian brand’s collection of handlebars, stems and seatposts, is the affordable Cyrano R5 series.
Based on Fizik’s existing Bull, Snake and Chameleon handlebars, the Cyrano R5 features the same anatomic shapes as the company’s more expensive carbon fiber models, albeit with T6061 aluminum as a more cost effective material.
The same holds true for Fizik’s Cyrano Stem R5, which is also constructed from T6061 aluminum, and features the same sand-blasted matte black finish, with six sizes available ranging from 80 to 130mm.
The new Cyrano R5 seatpost features the same finish as its other cockpit counterparts, however, Fizik decided to use T7075 aluminum instead.
The seatpost uses a 2-bolt seat clamp, along with stainless steel bolts and a thumbwheel for easy adjustment.
In addition, it features 25mm of setback, with availability in 27.2 and 31.6mm diameters and a choice of either 330 or 400mm lengths.
Fizik has set pricing at €49.00 across the entire Cyrano R5 range.
