The carbon fiber Uber Lords at Lightweight have teamed up with CeramicSpeed to create limited edition versions of their Meilenstein and Meilenstein Obermayer wheelsets.
It’s easy to guess that both limited edition wheelsets come equipped with CeramicSpeed’s ceramic bearings, but the Danish brand’s Oversized Pulley Wheel system (OSPW) has also been added to the package.
According to Lightweight, its already slippery Meilenstein wheelset achieves a reduction in friction by a staggering 30% to 40% when paired with CeramicSpeed’s bearings and OSPW system.
As for the Meillenstein Obermayer wheelset, Lightweight says CeramicSpeed upped the ante even further by adding an ultra thin layer of protective coating to its ceramic bearings for an even greater reduction in friction.
Even the cage on CeramicSpeed’s OSWP system was specially designed for the limited edition wheelsets, which features a new silver and black finish aimed at complimenting the carbon fiber patterns on the wheelsets.
The Meilenstein wheels are limited to 150 sets, which will set you back 5,399 euros, while the Meilenstein Obermayer are even more limited at 99 sets that fetch a whopping 6,399 euros.
