Selle Italia has introduced a new saddle called the SLR BOOST, touting it as the lightest, short saddle currently available on the market.
“We wanted excellence: lightness, performance, and innovation, to guarantee the sensations that have accompanied great champions of the past. A saddle capable of following and anticipating market trends,” says Giuseppe Bigolin, President and Owner of Selle Italia.
According to Selle Italia, the SLR BOOST is almost 25mm shorter that the company’s standard SLR saddle, and tips the scales at a feathery 122 grams.
The SLR BOOST has a new micro-perforated cover that features a slightly raised tail for optimal support of the ischial bones.
Additionally, the saddle also has a redesigned nose for added comfort, along with markings that run along the cut-away section that serve as what Selle Italia refers to as Biomechanical Reference Points for fine-tuning the rider’s position.
The SLR Boost is available in 4 versions, the SLR BOOST Kit Carbonio Superflow, SLR BOOST TI316, SLR BOOST manganese and the SLR Boost Lady, which adds Gel padding in order to adapt to the needs female riders.
