3T RaceMax WPNT Gets Treated to Full Cable Integration

3T has finally treated its RaceMax WPNT gravel bike to full cable integration courtesy of the brand’s 3T Apto Integrale stem.

“Running cables internally can be nice and potentially reduce aero drag, but what is the point if you end up with a very wide and bulky headtube with oversized bearings to house the cables? Our goal was to hide the cables but keep the headtube narrow. Quite the puzzle but the result is stunning. To top it off, the cables hide inside the 3T Apto Integrale, using the original minimalist Apto shape but with cable guidance. Beauty meets functionality as this gives you full adjustability of the carbon bar (or even the possibility to change the bar with another 3T carbon bar) to find the perfect fit. Because aerodynamics are meaningless if you cannot comfortably hold your aero position,” explains 3T.

Aside from integration, the Taiwanese-sourced RaceMax WPNT continues to share the same geometry as its more expensive Italian-made RaceMax and RaceMax Italia counterparts, as well as enough clearance to boast tires as wide as 54mm, or a whopping 61mm in 650b.

The RaceMax WPNT is available in five special edition colorways, Camo gray, Indaco blue, Mara blue, Malva purple and Avorio off-white, as a frameset only for 2975€, or as a complete bike with the top-tier build featuring a Shimano GRX Di2 2x groupset and 3T Discus 40/30 wheels for 6150€.

Oh, and for those who are unfamiliar with what the acronym WPNT means, it stands for WE PAINT, 3T’s in-house paint process that’s undertaken at its facility in Presezzo (BG), Italy.
