Introduction
The basic idea with FUBi was this: a foldable bicycle that was very easy to store inside due to optimum compactness and at the same time would retain all the functionality and styling of standard full-sized bicycles!
In order to obtain this optimum compactness a totally new (and patented) collapsible frame was devised where the aim was to reduce the volume of the folded “package” as much as possible. I.e. optimum compactness!
The Compact Folding
This is really what Fubi is about: Compactness! The frame is so small that it fits into a tennis racket bag.
This optimum compactness makes things that have been impossible before into a reality. FUBi fits in most small places like under bed, in a car, in a storage looker and even in a kitchen cabinet.

The Fast Folding
This is the faster way to fold FUBi that you can use when you don’t need it to be compact for example to put it the trunk of a car or to store it at you home.
"The fast way" is also quite small. You can easyly fit 2 FUBi in smart car! Simply amazing!
FUBi Transformability
The FUBi transformability is the ability change the main use of FUBi by changing the type of wheels used. Change it to city bike, road bike or even a moutain bike! With this system only suspension is lacking from it to be a complite moutain bike. It makes it possible to fold your bike and carry it on your back when you need to climb by feet. For this to be possible FUBi can use 3 different rim sizes:
The brake calipers can easily be moved to the 3 diffrent positions to accommodate different rim sizes.
Specifications
The actual folding of the cycle occurs in a whole new way. When the bike is folded, it is near-optimum compact, which means that it takes as little space as possible with all the existing parts. Fubi is so compact when it is folded, that it is possible to store up to three FUBi under an ordinary bed, or up to 8-10 FUBi in an ordinary family car.
FUBi is comfortable to ride, it is stable and safe. With these characteristics FUBi is also fully compareble with "regular" bikes, not just with folded bikes.
