SRAM’s much anticipated electronic groupset was spotted over the weekend at the start of this’s year’s Tour of California.
The new groupset was scene onboard of the Bissell Development Team’s bikes.
While there’s been no definitive word from SRAM about the groupset, judging by the photos and video, it appears as though the groupset in question is still relying on a "wired" platform.
Furthermore, sources say that shifting is actuated by a one-button format which is located on each of the brake levers.
As far as availability is concerned, it’s anyone’s guess at this point. However, based on the photos, it’s clear that the groupset is still in the proto-type phrase.
