It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Roland Cattin – founder and president of Time Sport, who died of an apparent heart-attack in Paris over the weekend.
I learned of his passing last evening from and friend and colleague in the cycling industry. And, needless to say, I was both shocked and saddened.
I had the honor of meeting Roland on a couple of occasions in Boston over the years. And, he was as refined and elegant a gentleman – as the bikes he masterfully produced.
The cycling world will be a poorer place without him.
