US Military Cycling has joined forces with US Military Endurance Sports. The move is intended to help foster programs that not only focus cycling, but triathlons and challenged-athletes events as well.
Announcement from WWW.USMILITARYCYCLING.COM
Veterans Day is a great opportunity to take a moment and remember that we are the “land of the free” because we are the “home of the brave.” US Military Endurance Sports is proud to support actively serving and veteran cyclists and triathletes through year-round mentorship, camps, training and event support. Especially important is our support of wounded soldier-athletes. We are excited to announce our 2014 partnership with Team 4Mil, leveraging its extensive experience gained through their adaptive Veteran Race Across America (RAAM) team. Whether a seasoned cyclist, an athlete new to endurance sports, or one who has an eye on the 2016 Paralympics, by working together we aim to empower our veterans, wounded and able-bodied, to “keep the warrior spirit alive.” Learn more about USMES programs and apply at:www.usmilitarycycling.com.
