USA Cycling Announces 2014 National Cyclocross Calendar

USA Cycling announced this week the 2014 Cyclo-cross National Calendar (CXNC)

"The purpose of the CXNC is to recognize top domestic events and provide them with the opportunity to achieve UCI recognition. Those races that seek UCI inscription on the USA Cycling Pro Cyclo-cross Calendar (Pro CX) must first be a part of the CXNC for at least one year".

Four events make up this year’s CXNC, starting with the Florida CX National in Dade City, Fla., on Aug. 31. That will be followed by the Sept. 21 GP Clark Natwick in San Francisco, Calif., and the Nov. 1 VeloCX in Blaine, Minn. The 2014 calendar concludes Dec. 6-7 with the Ruts ‘N Guts in Tulsa, Okla.
