Aventon has introduced its latest eBike called the Soltera, a design they claim is “nimble and powerful enough to replace your car in the city yet lightweight enough to carry up a flight of stairs after a day’s work.”
The Soltera features an elegant and minimalist design that’s reminiscent of Aventon’s roots, which is offered with either a single-speed drivetrain for low-maintenance and simplicity, or a seven-speed option for areas with hilly terrain, while both are equipped with a lightweight, throttle or pedal activated 36V, 350W Brushless Rear Hub electric motor.
Tipping the scales at 41 pounds, the Soltera is available in both a tradition or step-through frame, with both models equipped with a BC280 LCD Color Display with Backlight and Aventon’s own dedicated phone app.
The single-speed Soltera sells for $1,199, while the seven-speed version fetches $1,299.
