Over 70 years have passed since its introduction, Cinelli has decided to reprise its iconic Supercorsa frameset, albeit with a reimagined designed that features a sloping fork and fast-back seat stays, all-the-while preserving its provenance of being 100% handmade in Italy
“In uninterrupted production since the early 1950s, the Supercorsa represents the purest expression of Cinelli’s racing philosophy: timeless design, perfect balance, and uncompromising Italian craftsmanship. Still today, after Cino Cinelli perfected the design of his legendary Supercorsa, the frame remains 100% Made in Italy from Italian materials respecting the irreverent, ground-breaking technical solutions first developed by Cino, including his sloping fork crown and fast-back seat stays,” regals Cinelli.
“This harmony was to be achieved through the development of stiffness, elasticity, aerodynamics and aesthetics, with each component of the frame completely redesigned according to the radical criteria of Cino, the stubborn perfectionist,” adds Cinelli.
“The Supercorsa is Cinelli’s soul,” says Victor Luis, Chairman of Cinelli. “For over 70 years, it has embodied the timeless pursuit of performance through craft. This latest iteration stays true to its legacy and continues to pay homage to Italian steel tradition as an object of desire for riders and collectors alike.”
