Colnago and Adidas Partner on Special Edition Master Frame

Colnago and Adidas no sooner unveiled a new range of limited edition footwear last week, the two iconic companies have partnered once more to launch a special edition Master frame that should really get the Ragù following in the veins of most lovers of the vaunted Italian brand.

Featuring classic steel tubing and Colnago’s Precisa fork, the Master is complete with a special edition paint scheme that includes Adidas’ unmistakable “trefoil” logo.

The Master is limited to just 105 fames, with pricing to be announced.

But, rest assured it won’t come cheap.

more from Colnago…

A historical collaboration celebrates 3 iconic products of the ’80s, at that time at the cutting edge of style and design, but still today wonderfully up-to-date.

Three exclusive versions of Colnago Master, Adidas Kamanda and Trimm Star, were born, destined to leave a mark in the imagination of fans.

Colnago, which represents the history of cycling, fully recognizes the values of a company like Adidas, a true pioneer in the field of sports shoes: two very different realities, but at the same time united in the sign of the passion for work and pursuit of innovation.

The initiative includes the launch of a Master Colnago frame, limited edition of only 105 pieces, with original and suggestive serigraphs, which recall the famous “trefoil” logo by Adidas.

The timeless Colnago bicycle, a jewel of timeless style with its cold-drawn stellar steel tubes and the unmistakable Precisa fork, is accompanied in this project by the reworking of two different types of Adidas shoes.

Kamanda, a design experiment inspired by the football world of the ’80s, and Trimm Star, released in 1985 as light training shoes.

Both are finished in Italian Pellegrini leather; the Trimm Star sole is made of recycled rubber, taking up the ideal tires for a classic 70s racing bike. The metallic finish on the stripes and on the heel is also inspired by the red lines of the Colnago Master by Giuseppe Saronni, typical of the classic Colnago painting. The futuristic and transparent sole of Kamanda shows the carbon fiber effect that characterizes modern Colnago bikes, while the upper is finished in premium suede leather.
