Colnago has launched a more “accessible” variant of its V4Rs road bike simply dubbed the V4, offering disciples of the storied Italian brand the same DNA found in its more expensive sibling for about half the price.
Building upon a similar monocoque frame, the V4 boasts the same carbon layup and aerodynamic properties as the V4Rs thanks to a revamped headtube and a revised fork that encourages better airflow, along with enough clearance for 30mm tires.
However, unlike the one-piece cockpit found on the V4Rs, the V4 is fitted with Colnago’s SR10 stem paired with its R41 handlebar, or Deda’s Zero2 DCR, which both feature integrated cable routing.
The new V4 will be available in July, with complete bikes that span Shimano 105 and Ultegra Di2 groupsets, as well as the option for SRAM Rival AXS, with prices starting at €4,730.
