Continental has expanded the size range of its Grand Prix GP5000 S TR and GP5000 TT TR tires, which are now available in widths of 35mm and 30mm, respectively.
“The Grand Prix 5000 series is a comprehensive range of road tires designed to perform across a wide variety of riding conditions. An all-rounder, the S TR is built to be light, fast, and strong for riding where speed and reliability are equally valued. Designed in the pursuit of speed, the TT TR utilizes a stripped-down casing to achieve the lowest possible weight and rolling resistance,” boasts Continental.
GP5000 S TR
The latest addition of 35mm width option to the race-proven GP5000 S TR range expands the tire’s capabilities across varied terrain, while enhancing comfort on longer, performance-focused rides. The increased width allows riders to run lower pressures, helping to reduce vibration and improve comfort, while maintaining performance and puncture protection, making it ideal for multi-surface racing in all conditions.
GP5000 TT TR
Dedicated to speed, the TT TR is now available in the 30mm width, offering a larger surface area for increased stability and adhesion when cornering at speed, while supporting composure over long-distance efforts. This added confidence encourages riders to push harder through technical sections and extract every ounce of performance. By utilizing a specialized 2-ply casing to minimize rolling resistance, the TT TR remains the fastest tire in the range.
