This latest series of cycling illustrations that I culled together, comes from the Sardinian artist Toni Demuro.
Demuro graduated with a degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari, Sardinia, Italy, and he has since worked as a visual arts designer, with many of his illustrations appearing in Vanity Fair, Eli Edizioni, éditions d’Orbestier, éditions La Palisade and the Boston Globe over the years.
Demuro’s work bares somewhat of a resemblance to one of my favorite American illustrators, Anthony Russo, albeit a few decades and two generations apart.
Demuro’s work has also found its way unto the covers of magazines and books across North America and Europe, including children’s story books.
