It seems all roads lead to tarmac and gravel these days, prompting Deda to spin up its latest wheelset dubbed the Allroad Carbon, positioning it as a “does-it-all” set of hoops for both paved and unpaved exploits.
“Designed for riders who refuse to be limited by the road ahead, this Allroad Carbon wheelset delivers the perfect balance between speed, comfort, and durability. Engineered to perform seamlessly on asphalt, gravel, and mixed terrain, it combines lightweight carbon construction with optimized rim profiles for stability and control in every condition. Whether you’re chasing long-distance efficiency or exploring beyond the pavement, this wheelset is built to expand your riding possibilities—without compromise,” boasts Deda.
The Allroad Carbon relies on Deda’s filament carbon construction, featuring a 36mm deep profile, along with a 27mm internal and a 33mm external width, creating plenty of real estate to accommodate tires up to a hefty 51mm, while things revolve on the Italian brand’s latest AL7075 aluminum Allroad hubs, comprising a dual, 40-tooth ratchet system that results in superior engagement over the previous generation hubs.
Another interesting feature, involves integrated RFID technology that’s embedded directly into the rim, allowing the wheels to be authenticated via a smartphone with NFC capability when it comes to ownership and warranty matters.
All in, Deda says the Allroad Carbon tips the scales at an impressive 1,430 grams, which can be had for a reasonable €1.350,00.
