Giro has launched a new custom color program called Tuesday 25, which allows 25 customers each Tuesday to design and purchase a custom Aether MIPS helmet.
According to Giro, nearly all areas of the Aether MIPS helmets such as the outer shell, straps, retention system and buckles are customizable, giving customers a choice of 15 different color options and designs – creating up to 805 million different combinations.
Customers can submit their designs via a configurator on Giro’s website every Tuesday at 12am (US Pacific time), wherein the first 25 designs submitted will be selected.
Giro says customers will receive their helmets within 4–6 weeks from its California office.
Giro’s senior director said in a press release, “as a brand, Giro has always been an advocate of self-expression.” “The response to our new Aether MIPS helmet has been overwhelmingly positive, but we know that some riders really desire something that is literally unique. With more than 805 million possible combinations, it is now possible to have a helmet like no other.”
Pricing for the helmets starts at $400 and they’re available exclusively through the brand’s website, or through a handful of selected retailers.
