Goodyear has unveiled its newest flagship clincher road tires, the Eagle F1 and F1 SuperSport, which feature the company’s DynamicGSR technology that combines Graphene and Silica to decrease rolling resistance and adhesion.
The Eagle F1 and Eagle F1 SuperSport distinguish themselves by the addition of more sipes and tread grooves, aimed at improving traction in both wet and dry conditions, while a 120tpi casing and R:Shield puncture protection cap ensures optimal performance and durability.
According to Goodyear, the Eagle F1 has a slightly wider and thicker profile than its lighter weight sibling, making it the ideal choice for everyday riding, while the F1 SuperSport is clearly a more race-day focussed tire.
Pricing for the tires is expected to fall between $60-$65, with availability starting in Spring of 2020.
