As a result of its successful Kickstarter campaign last year, BE Headwear says it’s grown to become the leader in mobile, personal surround sound, setting a new bar for cyclists and active people alike to experience superior audio quality and style.
Since then, BE Headwear has received enough support to bring their technology to the next level.
BE Headwear says it listened to a lot of feedback from their last campaign, giving them the input they needed to create their latest Gen. 4 headphones, which boasts an even louder, slimmer, smaller, and easier to operate design than the previous model.
According to BE Headwear, the Gen. 4’s not only yield better ergonomics, but a host of integration as well, such as “turn-by-turn navigation”, Strava interface and Bluetooth capabilities using their Be-Link external controller, which can be mounted on any handlebars.
The BE Link allows users the ability to change music tracks and answer their smartphone, to include a USB attachable mic for talking. In addition, BE Headwear says the system has a charge life of 8-10 hours, and it only requires 2 to 3 hours to fully charge.

The Gen. 4 BE Link has a totally redesigned control panel that is very easy to operate. The buttons are placed around the center of the piece so that you can quickly locate all of the controls just by touch.
BE Link buttons can be turned off with a switch on the side of the unit so that none of them get pushed accidentally while it is in your helmet. When the control buttons are switched off, your BE Link can be controlled through your phone or the external controller.
We are excited to announce that the new BE Link comes with a separate external Bluetooth controller that will mount to your handlebars, clip to your wrist, ski pole, paddle, just sit in your pocket, etc. The controller is equipped with an action sports camera mount on the back. With the external controller, you can control your BE Link while the speakers stay in your helmet, and your phone stays in your pocket.
