Italy Lights Up Pink in Celebration of the 100th Giro d’Italia

With exactly 100 days left to the start of the 100th edition of Giro d’Italia the host cities celebrate their link with the Corsa Rosa, illuminating their landmarks in pink, including important squares, monuments, roads and special locations.

Indeed, Town halls, ancient structures and even ice sculptures in places along the route of this year’s race were bathed in pink, as was the memorial on the Passo dello Stelvio to one of the legends of the race, the great Fausto Coppi.
