Lazer Unveils New Sphere Helmet with MIPS

Lazer has unveiled its latest helmet called the Sphere, offering increased ventilation and optional MIPS head protection technology for roadies.

“The Sphere delivers a perfect combination of great looks, all day comfort, performance and features to help protect in the event of an impact. You will look forward to every ride in the Sphere,” says the Belgian brand.

Other features that highlight the new Sphere are Lazer’s thumbwheel adjustable ARS Fit System that evenly distributes pressure around the head, a ponytail accessible head basket and a 15-degree angle that assures maximum airflow, as well as a docking area that makes eyewear storage easy and bottom-shell protection to prevent damage to the helmet’s foam.

The new lid is also compatible with the company’s clip-on Aeroshell that increases aerodynamic efficiency by closing-off the vents.

The Sphere is available in both a MIPS and a non-MIPS version for $159.99 and $139.99 respectively, with sizes that span from small (52–56cm) to extra-large (61–64cm) in six different colors.
