Lazer has answered the call to create a helmet that’s specifically geared toward the eBike market, by combining both the attributes of a motorbike helmet with those of a traditional cycling lid.
The new Anverz borrows heavily from the Belgian brand’s Revolution MTB helmet, adding a unique clip-on shell and flip-up visor that’s incorporated into a thin vacuum-formed sheet which can be easily removed.
Additionally, the new Anverz features lots of ventilation, to include removable plastic ear vents/pads, which can be replaced with speakers to create a Bluetooth intercom system.
The Anverz also has provisions to accommodate Lazer’s SMS modular mount system that will accept an action camera or similar device, while still allowing the helmet to pass the stringent NTA safety standards introduced by the Dutch, for bikes that reach speeds upwards of 30 mph.
Other features include, a synthetic leather strap and magnetic buckle for convenience and additional style points.
According to Lazer, the Anverz will be available in three sizes, with pricing and availability to be announced next month.
