MagicGuanto has announced the launch of its world-wide registry of cycling clubs and teams called CycleJockey that borrows its theme from the US-based The Jockey Club, which was established more than a century ago to organized and codified Thoroughbred breeding and racing around the world.
In addition, the development of CycleJockey was also inspired by the award winning Scagliarini-Campagnolo Professional Cycling Club kit that the Italian label worked closely with to design.
According to MagicGuanto, similar to The Jockey Club, there are 39 designs comprising the CycleJockey jersey front and back panel collection, and 19 sleeve designs. However, unlike The Jockey Club, cycling clubs and teams are not restricted to just four colors in their kit design, though fewer colors are encouraged.
The annual cost of the CycleJockey is $25, and the cycle clothing is not required to be manufactured by MagicGuanto.
For their registration clubs and teams will be listed with their: Name; Primary Sponsor, if any; Design; Colors; Year Established; Country; Province or State; City or Town; Number of Members; Kit Manufacturer; and Website.
The CycleJockey registry is currently undergoing a “soft-launch” with the aim of providing a searchable database of cycling clubs and teams that isn’t currently available online.
